Role Overview
Chief Inspector for Beond's Saudi Arabia Air Operator Certificate (GACA), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Chief Inspector is appointed by and reports to the Accountable Executive, independent of the Director of Maintenance.

Beond is the world's first premium leisure airline, operating an all-lie-flat Airbus fleet and standing up new Air Operator Certificates in Bahrain (BCAA) and Saudi Arabia (GACA).
Role Purpose
Administer the inspection programme, maintain airworthiness standards, ensure quality assurance across maintenance activities, and provide independent oversight of the inspector cadre to guarantee integrity of airworthiness determinations.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Standards
- Administer the required inspection programme and maintain the Required Inspection Items (RII) list.
- Set inspection standards across the maintenance operation.
- Oversee the inspector cadre and maintenance quality assurance.
- Ensure inspection independence and integrity of airworthiness determinations.
Audit & Compliance
- Audit maintenance activities and records.
- Drive corrective action from audit findings.
Regulatory Interface
- Interface with GACA on inspection and quality matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a mechanic certificate with both airframe and powerplant (A&P) ratings, held for at least 3 years (GACAR 121.49(d)(1)).
- At least 3 years' maintenance experience on different types of large aircraft (10+ seats), including 1 year as a maintenance inspector (GACAR 121.49(d)(2)).
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience maintaining the same category and class of aircraft (GACAR 121.49(d)(3)).
- Full understanding of the GACAR, the operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual.
- Must be acceptable to GACA (the President) based on experience, competence and knowledge (GACAR 121.45(e), (g)).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong quality systems and required-inspection background.
- Airbus type experience (desirable).
- Fluent English; Arabic advantageous.
