Role Overview
Chef de Partie (In-Room Dining) at Palazzo Versace Dubai, a luxury hospitality establishment.
Role Purpose
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes for in-room dining service while maintaining strict food safety standards, managing mise en place efficiently, and supporting the In-Room Dining team to ensure seamless guest experiences across all meal periods.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all orders are prepared accurately, consistently, and within the required service time.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, portioning, temperature, and presentation.
Mise en Place & Station Management
- Organize and maintain mise en place to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
Service Operations
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, late-night dining, and special guest requests as required.
- Coordinate closely with the In-Room Dining team to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
- Communicate any operational issues, shortages, or guest-related requirements to the Sous Chef.
Food Safety & Quality
- Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Assist in minimizing food wastage and maintaining effective food cost control.
Team Support
- Support and guide Commis Chefs within the section.
