Cashier position at SKIMS, Abu Dhabi, operated by Al Tayer Group.
Company Overview
Al Tayer Group operates the SKIMS retail location in Abu Dhabi.
Role Purpose
Manage all cash and credit transactions for goods movement, deliver high-quality customer service, and maintain accurate accounts and secure custody of cash, cheques, and related documents.
Key Responsibilities
Cash & Payment Processing
- Receive cash and authorized payment modes from customers.
- Issue receipts and bills for customer purchases.
- Reconcile cash and credit receipts against sales figures.
- Prepare daily cash summary reports for submission to the Accountant.
Cash Security & Banking
- Maintain safe custody of all cash received and relevant documents.
- Deposit cash and cheques in the bank daily.
- Protect company funds through careful handling and secure procedures.
Petty Cash Management
- Monitor petty cash usage.
- Authorize payments only for approved items or emergency miscellaneous purchases.
- Submit petty cash accounts periodically to the Store Manager or Deputy Floor Manager for verification and sanction.
- Prevent misuse of funds.
Customer Service & Communication
- Answer phone calls and customer queries in a professional manner.
- Offer efficient customer service to enhance the company's image.
Store Monitoring
- Keep count of customer traffic into the shop.
- Compile relevant customer traffic information on a daily basis.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School qualification.
- 2 to 3 years experience in a similar field.

- Customer service orientation.
- Highly organised with attention to detail.
