Role Purpose

Support the Facilities Engineer and property management operations through skilled carpentry work. Layout, install, repair, finish, and maintain various structures, fixtures, and buildings according to ASPM requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Planning

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials.

Installation and Assembly

• Use hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to create or modify structures.
• Assemble and install framework, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other wooden or metal components.
• Install or repair building fixtures, such as windows, stairs, and molding.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met.

Safety and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and time spent on each project.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated skill as a carpenter.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
