Role Purpose
Support the Facilities Engineer in designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to ASPM requirements. Take responsibility for layout, installation, repair, finishing, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Preparation
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, or other materials according to specifications.
Installation & Construction
- Use hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to create or modify structures.
- Assemble and install framework, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other wooden or metal components.
- Install or repair building fixtures, such as windows, stairs, or molding.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
Documentation
- Keep accurate records of work performed and time spent on each project.
