Role Overview

CARC Paint Specialist for Patriot Equipment at RTX, located in Jeddah Military, Saudi Arabia. This is an onsite position.

Role Purpose

Perform daily Chemical Agent Resistive Coating (CARC) paint operations for Patriot ground support equipment to military standards. Ensure surface preparation, painting, corrosion control, and process implementation align with Raytheon standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation

• Prepare paint spraying facilities and surfaces to be painted.
• Remove old paint from equipment surfaces.
• Demonstrate proficiency operating commercial blast equipment for aluminum and steel surface preparation.

Painting & Application

• Spray paint all Air Defense Forces systems equipment and associated elements.
• Lay primer on prepared surfaces.
• Demonstrate proficiency operating commercial paint equipment for pre-treatment, primers, and CARC paint application.

Finishing & Quality

• Apply putties and other finishing or body works when needed.
• Implement corrosion control and process control finishing systems.

Training & Support

• Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed.
• Perform other required work in the same field.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Painting and Body Works from an accredited foreign or local college or institute, or high school certificate with courses in Painting and Body Works.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the field of using paint ovens, sandblasting devices, and CARC coatings preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Commercial blast equipment operation for surface preparation.
• Commercial paint equipment operation for pre-treatment, primers, and CARC paint application.
• Strict compliance with all safety rules and procedures.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
