Role Overview

Capillary Assistant Operator - Well Services at Weatherford UAE is a semi entry-level crew member position supporting capillary operations in the field.

Role Purpose

Support the well services team during capillary operations by assisting with equipment handling, maintenance, rig activities, and safety compliance in a demanding field environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment & Mobilization

• Load and offload equipment under supervision for mobilization and demobilization
• Assist with spotting equipment and skids
• Support spooling-related tasks in the yard and field

Pre-Job & Maintenance

• Assist with pre-job inspections and basic equipment maintenance
• Record test parameters and pressure values accurately

Rig Operations

• Participate in rig up and rig down activities with the crew

Safety & Housekeeping

• Actively participate in pre-job safety meetings, JSAs, and toolbox talks
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep the worksite organized

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oilfield, preferably in coiled tubing
• Capillary experience is a strong advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Additional Information

• IWCF or IADC WIPC Level 1 certification preferred; willingness to pursue certification is mandatory
