CAD Supervisor/ Deputy CAD Manager - Abu Dhabi

Role Overview

CAD Supervisor / Deputy CAD Manager position for a multinational client in the air-filtration systems manufacturing domain, located in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

Lead the CAD function for an air-filtration systems manufacturer, supervising design teams and managing the creation of industrial products while ensuring compliance with production processes and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Lead the design of modular steel buildings and associated steel support structures.
• Manage 3D industrial CAD projects using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Apply knowledge of sheet metal, welding and machining techniques in design solutions.
• Understand commercial issues within the design role.

Team Leadership

• Manage and coach a CAD design team.
• Supervise team members on industrial product design and production processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electro-mechanical engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through professional experience.
• Minimum 6 years of 3D industrial CAD experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing and coaching a team.
• Heavy industry experience with a focus on fabrication (mandatory).
• Good experience in industrial products and production processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, welding and machining techniques.
• Understanding of commercial issues in design.
• Fluent in English.

Additional Information

• Gross salary: 16,000–18,000 AED per month plus benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
