CAD Designer- Electrical- Abu Dhabi

Role Overview

CAD Designer – Electrical in Abu Dhabi with Virtua Advanced Solution for a 2-year outsourced contract, extendable based on project assignments.

Role Purpose

Design and draft electrical systems, control circuits, and infrastructure for industrial projects using advanced CAD tools and PLM systems, ensuring compliance with global electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

• Design power and control circuits for industrial systems.
• Route cable trays and conduits.
• Layout control boxes.
• Produce P&ID and control schematics.

Technical Execution

• Model and draft using Siemens NX.
• Apply knowledge of control logic to designs.
• Ensure designs comply with global electrical standards including IEC, NEC, UL, and NEMA.

Collaboration

• Work effectively in multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical CAD design for industrial systems.
• Preferably experience in Power Generation or Oil & Gas sectors.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Siemens NX for modelling and drafting.
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM.
• Knowledge of P&ID and control schematics.
• Understanding of global electrical standards including IEC, NEC, UL, and NEMA.
• Control logic design and analysis.
• Multi-discipline team collaboration.
• Communication skills.

Additional Information

• Contract type: 2-year outsourced position, extendable based on project assignments.
• Gross salary: 7,000 AED per month plus benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
• Location: Abu Dhabi.
