Role Purpose

Operate and monitor industrial boilers and associated equipment to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant steam and hot-water system performance.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Operate steam or hot-water boilers and associated equipment.
• Monitor pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.
• Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.

Maintenance & Inspection

• Inspect safety devices, pressure-relief valves, pumps, compressors, and fans.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.

Testing & Treatment

• Conduct boiler-water testing and support water-treatment activities.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate operational and fuel-consumption records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Class 1 Boiler Operator Certificate or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler operating experience.
• Experience with steam and hot-water systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of boiler safety and water treatment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond calmly to emergencies.
