Role Overview
Body & Paint Master Facilitator at Abdul Latif Jameel. This is a subject-matter expert role responsible for leading the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of Body & Paint training and certification programs.

Role Purpose
The Master Facilitator, Body Repair & Paint, translates business needs and OEM standards into high-impact training and certification programs that improve operational performance, service quality, and customer experience. The role ensures alignment with Toyota Motor Corporation standards and drives excellence in Body & Paint capabilities through practical learning interventions and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Design & Development
- Design, update, enhance, and maintain Body repair and paint training curricula in alignment with business and OEM standards.
- Customize training content and learning pathways based on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and operational performance gaps.
- Develop and update training materials using modern instructional techniques and digital tools.
- Integrate advanced training methods, including simulators, visual aids, and digital learning solutions, to enhance learning effectiveness.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Plan and deliver high-impact classroom, workshop, and blended training programs, including TMC-certified courses.
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences using adult learning methodologies, simulations, and practical case applications.
- Deliver technical training programs aligned with OEM standards, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and learner engagement.
Certification Management
- Manage the end-to-end certification lifecycle for Body and Paint, including theoretical and practical assessments, results reporting, and integrity assurance.
- Ensure certification processes align with OEM requirements and compliance standards.
Performance Assessment & Improvement
- Conduct regular Gemba visits to workshops and service and retail locations to assess training effectiveness, identify performance gaps, and evaluate capability gaps.
- Translate Gemba insights, learner feedback, and performance data into continuous improvements in training content and delivery.
- Recommend targeted interventions based on Gemba findings and performance analysis.
- Monitor training programs to ensure they contribute directly to operational excellence and workforce capability development.
Stakeholder & Team Development
- Coach and mentor facilitators to elevate instructional quality and technical capability within the school.
- Engage with Toyota Motor Corporation, digital learning teams, and business stakeholders to ensure training quality and alignment.
- Contribute to short- and medium-term training roadmaps to support a sustainable pipeline of qualified talent.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in engineering, Automotive Technology, or related fields.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in automotive Body & Paint operations or technical training.
- Proven experience in training delivery, certification, and workshop operations.
Certifications
- Master Body or Paint Technician certification.
- Champion in one Body & Paint Competition (Skills Contest).
- Technical certifications in Body & Paint (OEM or equivalent preferred).
Skills & Competencies

Supervision & Decision-Making Authority
The job holder operates with periodic supervision and structured alignment reviews. The role exercises shared decision-making authority with relevant internal stakeholders in line with approved governance and policies.
Framework & Boundaries
The role operates within HITCL academic governance, OEM (Toyota) certification standards, and approved learning frameworks. Authority extends to designing and delivering training, administering assessments, and recommending improvements while adhering to defined policies, budgets, and digital platform governance. Final approval of academic standards, certifications, budgets, and system changes remains with relevant governance and leadership functions.
