Role Overview
BIM Coordinator – 4D at AtkinsRealis. This is a regular employee position.

Role Purpose
Direct the effectiveness of BIM adoption including 4D and 5D simulations for different types of projects. Prepare, update and maintain BIM 4D models and simulations with reporting of actual versus planned progress in accordance with baseline and updated schedules using Navisworks software, while coordinating between Planning, BIM and Construction teams to ensure accuracy to site conditions.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modelling & Simulation
- Prepare, update and maintain BIM 4D and simulations and reporting (actual versus planned) in accordance with the baseline schedule and the updated schedule using Navisworks software.
- Direct the effectiveness of BIM adoption including the 4D and 5D simulation for different types of projects.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate between Planning Team, BIM Team and Construction Team to ensure the 4D model is as accurate to site conditions as possible.
- Coordinate with the QS departments and cost teams for the effectiveness of the 5D simulation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in BIM and Revit software.
- Good grasp of engineering principles and spatial coordination.
- Exposure to infrastructure design processes.
- Appreciation of interfacing with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Experience working under quality systems, specifically the check and review process.
- Intimate knowledge of industry standard layouts and nomenclature.
- Experience working with both consultants and contractors.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in BIM and Revit software.
- Proficiency in Navisworks software.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Ability to interpret MEP, architectural and structural engineering requirements.
- Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in teams to deadlines.
- Adherence to Atkins BIM Standards.
