Role Purpose

As a Renaissance Door Ambassador, you are one of the first points of contact for arriving guests. You create a unique and personalized guest experience through a friendly and authentic approach, using your knowledge of the locale and relationships across the hotel to anticipate and deliver on guest needs from arrival through departure.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Engagement

• Greet guests with a friendly, authentic approach upon arrival.
• Read cues from each guest to tailor your approach and ensure they feel at home from the moment they arrive.
• Identify key details that make something uniquely interesting and provide guests with intriguing information about the locale.
• Enable guests to get the most out of their stay through personalized assistance and local knowledge.
• Drive a best-in-class guest experience and inspire guests and ambassadors alike to live life to discover.

Logistics & Assistance

• Assist guests and their luggage to their right places inside and outside of the hotel.
• Ensure guests have the information or transportation they need to get to and from their desired locations.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Hotel Operations & Collaboration

• Build relationships with colleagues across the hotel, including housekeeping, parking, the Navigator, and beyond.
• Anticipate guest needs by leveraging skills and relationships throughout the hotel.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Comply with quality assurance standards.
• Protect company assets.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
