Role Overview
Behavioral Health Coach with Intellect HQ, a telehealth platform operating in Oman. This is a freelance remote position offering flexibility to set your own business hours.
Role Purpose
Deliver mental health and personal development support to clients through scheduled telehealth sessions, focusing on sub-clinical cases and individual growth goals while collaborating with the internal clinical team to enhance the program and platform.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support
- Provide 1-on-1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect's clients through 30-minute video sessions on the platform.
- Focus on sub-clinical cases such as work stress, procrastination, and work-life balance.
- Support clients in setting and achieving personal or career goals and relationship objectives.
Collaboration & Improvement
- Collaboratively work with the internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and the platform.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification OR Master's/Postgraduate Diploma training in Counselling.
- ICF Coaches must have at least 200 coaching hours.
- Counsellors must have at least 300 clinical hours post graduation.
- Prior experience in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), counselling working adults, or coaching managerial roles is prioritized.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in English and local language.
- Skilled in coaching techniques and/or evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Additional Information
- This is a freelance remote role with flexibility to decide your own business hours.
- Local Oman-based candidates are preferred; however, other candidates can still be considered.
- This role is suitable as a supplement to current employment or private practice.
