Beauty Advisor

Role Overview

Beauty Advisor at Apparel Group. This role is based in a retail store environment and is responsible for representing the brand and maximizing sales through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Represent the brand and drive sales within the store by delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining visual and operational standards, and creating an engaging retail experience that converts shoppers into buyers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Demonstrate excellent makeup selling skills and recommend products that meet customer-specific needs.
• Identify customer requirements and deliver excellent customer service.
• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right products.
• Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Maintain updated product knowledge of varied cosmetics products and accessories across all brands in the group for suggestive selling.

Store Operations & Maintenance

• Perform various operational duties including store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by store management.
• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed in order to attract customers and according to standard layout norms.
• Record inventory inward and outward movements and maintain reports of the same.
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping.

Point of Sale & Cash Management

• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) / Billing Counter operations.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.

Security & Brand Standards

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of store security without any negligence.
• Represent the brand at required standards with minimized stock loss.
• Maintain presentability and grooming standards at all times.
• Remain flexible to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of cosmetics products and accessories.
• Excellent makeup selling skills.
• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
• Retail customer service.
• Product knowledge across multiple brands.
• Inventory management.
• Attention to detail and security awareness.
