Role Overview
Beauty Advisor at Apparel Group. The position represents the brand and maximizes sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.
Role Purpose
Deliver outstanding customer service while driving sales through product knowledge, visual merchandising, and operational excellence. Maintain brand standards and store presentation to create an engaging retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Demonstrate excellent makeup selling skills and recommend products linked to customer-specific needs.
- Identify customer requirements and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right products.
- Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
- Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
- Maintain updated product knowledge across varied cosmetics products and accessories.
- Stay updated about the various brands of the group for suggestive selling to customers.
Store Operations & Maintenance
- Perform various operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.
- Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed in order to attract customers and as per standard layout norms.
- Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports of the same.
- Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards.
- Minimize stock loss through vigilance and proper handling.
Cash Handling & Payments
- Handle the Point of Sale (POS) billing counter.
- Tally money in the cash during the beginning and end of shifts.
- Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
Security & Brand Representation
- Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence.
- Maintain brand representation at the required standards.
- Be presentable and well-groomed at all times.
Scheduling
- Be flexible to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of cosmetics products and accessories.
- Makeup selling expertise.
- Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
- Cash handling and payment processing.
- Customer service and communication.
- Visual merchandising and presentation.
- Inventory management and record-keeping.
Additional Information
- Must be presentable and well-groomed at all times.
