Role Overview
Bartender at Palazzo Versace Dubai, located in Dubai.
Role Purpose
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests while maintaining service excellence, product knowledge, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes.
- Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation, and quality.
- Engage with guests professionally, providing recommendations and personalized service.
Product Knowledge & Planning
- Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and seasonal specialties.
- Ensure bar mise en place is prepared before service.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages.
- Assist in monthly inventory and stock-taking procedures.
- Support cost control by minimizing waste and breakage.
Facility & Hygiene Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Transactions & Compliance
- Verify guest age requirements in compliance with local regulations.
- Process guest orders accurately through the POS system.
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly.
