Role Purpose
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages to the highest standards of quality and presentation while engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, collaborate with the lounge team to ensure guest satisfaction, and stay current with trends in coffee preparation and beverage innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area, including regular sanitation of equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
Guest Engagement & Service
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized service and recommendations based on their preferences.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the lounge team to maintain a welcoming and efficient service environment, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Learning & Development
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in coffee preparation techniques, beverage recipes, and presentation styles to ensure the lobby lounge remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a barista, preferably in a high-end hotel or fine-dining establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of various coffee preparation techniques, including espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, and cold brew.
- Basic knowledge of classic cocktails.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized experiences.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, enabling seamless collaboration with other lounge staff members.
- Passion for the food and beverage industry, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying current on the latest trends and techniques.

Schedule
- 6 days per week over 48 working hours.
