Company Overview

Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is a luxurious island resort offering guests a multi-inclusive vacation experience. The property spans five acres and features a waterpark, private beach, retail area, beach club, and multiple fine dining and casual restaurants.

Role Purpose

Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar workspace while ensuring consistency in drink preparation and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Ensure consistency in drink preparation by following recipes and quality standards.

Guest Service

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about beverages.

Workspace Management

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and seating areas.
• Stock and replenish coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Additional Duties

• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a barista is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso drinks is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Team player mentality.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift items such as milk jugs and coffee bean bags.
