Role Purpose

To prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and cafe menu items while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks.
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Recommend and upsell coffee products and cafe menu items.
• Stay updated on coffee trends and share product knowledge with customers.

Equipment & Operations

• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other cafe equipment.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

Inventory & Team Collaboration

• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Food handling certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods, and cafe operations.
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines and other cafe equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
