Role Purpose

To prepare and serve exceptional coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks while delivering personalized service that builds guest loyalty, encourages repeat visits, and upholds the luxury standards of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and service excellence, reflecting the luxury standards of the hotel.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all beverage and food offerings, confidently recommending products tailored to each guest's tastes and preferences.

Guest Experience & Loyalty

• Deliver exceptional service by building genuine guest relationships, anticipating preferences, and creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.
• Build guest loyalty by recognizing returning guests, remembering preferences where appropriate, and promoting hotel dining experiences, loyalty programs, and special promotions to drive repeat business.

Revenue & Sales

• Actively promote and upsell signature beverages, seasonal offerings, pastries, and other menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and achieve revenue targets.

Equipment & Inventory Management

• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and barista equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing service interruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, proactively communicating replenishment requirements to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock inventory according to food safety standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Comply with all food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and health and safety regulations while consistently maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage team to identify opportunities for increased sales, guest engagement, and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-end environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to connect with guests and team members.
• Natural, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering excellence in service.
• Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues and adapting to a variety of tasks with a positive attitude.
