Role Purpose
Welcome guests warmly and deliver attentive, personalized bar service reflecting Brassmith's premium jazz-bar concept and Accor standards, while contributing to guest satisfaction, repeat visits, and outlet revenue through excellent service and upselling.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations
- Welcome, seat and engage guests with a friendly, professional approach.
- Provide attentive service, respond to requests and follow up on guest feedback.
- Introduce Brassmith's menu, promotions and live entertainment; recognize returning guests.
- Build guest loyalty through product knowledge and consistently personalized service.
Floor Service & Operations
- Manage dedicated floor service and assist with hostessing and seating when required.
- Prepare tables and service stations; take orders, serve food and drinks, clear and follow up.
- Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for accurate, timely service, allowing bartenders to focus on beverage production.
- Adapt floor service to reservations, busy nights, private events and live performances.
- Maintain clean, well-presented guest and service areas before, during and after service.
Commercial & Sales
- Recommend suitable beverages, food and promotions to increase average guest spend.
- Contribute to guest satisfaction, repeat visits and outlet revenue through service and upselling.
Management & Administration
- Follow POS, order-taking, billing and opening/closing procedures.
- Handle glassware and equipment carefully; report shortages, breakages and defects.
- Support briefings, stock counts and event setup when required.
- Support monthly attendance, guest trackers, loyalty trackers, entertainment attendance records required for internal communication meetings.
Hygiene, Safety & Environment
- Follow HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene and hotel security procedures.
- Use equipment safely and report hazards or incidents promptly.
- Support Accor environmental commitments through energy saving, recycling and waste reduction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service practices and compliance with regulations.
Skills & Competencies
- Guest-focused mindset, confident in upselling and comfortable working during live entertainment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving drinks.
