It offers 200 light-filled accommodations including 38 suites, all with water views of the Arabian Gulf and city skyline. The property features six creative restaurants and lounges and serves as Al Maryah Island's premier location for stylish entertaining.
Role Purpose
The Banquet Server provides professional and attentive service to guests, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience in accordance with the outlet's standards.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
- Present menus, recommend dishes, and explain daily specials.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests promptly.
Operational Standards
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards always.
Guest Relations
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
Team Coordination
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Banquet Supervisor, Assistant Banquet Manager or Director of Banquets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.
- High level of understanding and knowledge of Banquet operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Outgoing personality and can-do approach to assigned tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
