Banking Integration Tester - (Temenos T24)

Role Overview

Banking Integration Tester (Temenos T24) at TAWANTECH. Full-time position for a detail-oriented software tester with hands-on experience in integration testing across distributed systems within the banking technology sector.

Role Purpose

Ensure seamless communication and high-quality integration between banking applications, middleware, APIs, and third-party services through comprehensive integration testing methodologies and banking environment expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Test Design & Execution

• Design, prepare, and execute Integration Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Functional Testing.
• Validate end-to-end integration between banking applications, middleware, APIs, and external systems.

Requirements & Analysis

• Analyze Business and Functional Requirements to identify integration testing needs.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Defect Management

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

API & Data Validation

• Validate API requests and responses using testing tools.
• Verify data consistency across multiple integrated systems and databases.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Project Managers.
• Support UAT activities whenever required.

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure testing activities comply with banking quality standards and project timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Integration Testing.
• Previous experience working within the Banking or Financial Services sector is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Temenos T24 testing and integration is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
