B2 Instructor

Role Overview

B2 Instructor position with Airbus Defense and Space, based at Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. This is a fixed-term professional role.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training in H145 helicopter maintenance to both entry-level and experienced maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to approved curricula and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum

• Develop and deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculum in respective specialty fields for fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Instruct technical training courses using approved methodologies and materials.
• Develop teaching aids including charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to support technical training delivery.

Supervision & Evaluation

• Supervise new maintenance technicians directly during training evaluations.
• Maintain training records in compliance with PSS/GSAC policies and procedures using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in avionics specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 from an approved OEM organization.
• 3 years in a technical writing position preferred.
• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization required.
• EASA Part 66 or FAA License preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office automation tools.
• English language proficiency minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) for non-native speakers; proficiency will otherwise be evaluated during PSS/GSAC interview.
• Technical writing capability.
