B2 Instructor

Role Overview

B2 Instructor position at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. This is a fixed-term professional role.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training in H145 helicopter maintenance to fresh and experienced maintenance technicians, develop curriculum and training materials, and supervise trainees during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Instruct OJT (On-the-Job Training) curriculum in respective field for both fresh maintenance technicians and advanced maintenance technicians with experience.
• Directly supervise new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.

Curriculum & Training Materials Development

• Develop OJT curriculum in the respective field.
• Develop teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.

Records & Compliance

• Maintain training records with adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum diploma in avionics specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a technical instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curriculum in the respective field for both fresh maintenance technicians and advanced maintenance technicians with experience.
• Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.
• EASA Part 66/FAA license is preferred.
• 3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• English language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading and writing) at minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers; English proficiency will be evaluated during the PSS/GSAC interview if not documented.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office automation tools.
