Role Overview
B2 Avionics Technician with Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance.
Role Purpose
Ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. Perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair, replacement and refurbishing of aircraft components and systems, conduct maintenance and function checks, and deliver on-the-job training as required.

Compliance & Safety
- Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.
- Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations.

Maintenance & Inspection
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet within a customer environment.
- Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks individually or as part of a team.
- Check tools and ground support equipment for condition and expiration date before every maintenance activity.
- Check components and parts for condition (damages, leaks) and verify documentation applicability before every maintenance activity.
- Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification of aircraft systems.
- Conduct system repairs, first level Quality inspection and functional tests of aircraft and components.
- Conduct checkouts of avionic instrument and flight control systems and components, including repairs, overhauls, modifications, alignments and installation.
- Inspect avionic instrument and flight control systems.
- Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systems.
Quality & Documentation
- Complete quality checks and documentation in accordance with Company and Customer Procedures.
- Ensure that all work performed is recorded on appropriate paperwork and signed progressively.
- Ensure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
- Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated.
- Verify aircraft condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service of the aircraft.
Supervision & Training
- Work as part of a team.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring timely completion and delivery quality requirements.
- Conduct on-the-job training activity.
- Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals.
- Train personnel in all safety directives and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) procedures.
General
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Practical working experience in H215 (AS532 ALE) is mandatory.
