Role Overview

B1 Instructor at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. Fixed-term position, Professional level.

Role Purpose

Deliver technical instruction and training to maintenance technicians on H145 helicopter systems and procedures, developing curriculum and training materials while directly supervising trainees during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Training Delivery

• Instruct maintenance technicians in H145 aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
• Conduct training evaluations and directly supervise new maintenance technicians during training.
• Deliver technical training courses using developed instructional methods.

Curriculum & Training Materials Development

• Develop and instruct OJT (On-the-Job Training) curriculum in the respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Develop teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.

Administration & Records Management

• Maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.
• Ensure all CV information and qualifications are supported by official documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (Minimum 2 years).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in H145 Maintenance (Military or Civilian).
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.
• Instructor qualification or course certificate from a recognized organization.
• 3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.
• Preferred to be qualified as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.

Skills & Competencies

• EASA Part 66 or FAA License (preferred).
• Working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.
• Technical writing capability.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite.
• English language proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers; alternatively, English language skills will be evaluated during the PSS/GSAC interview.

Additional Information

• Fixed-term contract.
• Pass the PSS/GSAC interview (attended physically or online).
• Pass security clearance from the KSA government.
