Role Overview

AVP, Product Management & Structuring at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), based at FAB AM (FAB Asset Management).

Role Purpose

Develop world-class investment products aligned with FAB AM's strategic objectives and attractive to target segments. Lead end-to-end structuring of investment products, including fund design, documentation approvals, and regulatory submission. Coordinate across internal teams and external counsel to deliver legally-compliant, market-relevant products while driving efficiency in the product lifecycle and demonstrating FAB AM values.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Structuring

• Develop deep understanding of investment products and fund structures.
• Work with product documentation covering strategy, asset allocation, and fees.
• Lead the end-to-end structuring of investment products from fund design to launch.
• Drive efficiency in the product lifecycle from concept to regulatory submission, ensuring alignment with internal governance frameworks and external regulations.

Stakeholder Coordination & Governance

• Lead multi-stakeholder coordination across fund managers, legal, compliance, Islamic advisors, and external counsel.
• Act as central coordinator across all product development phases, from idea generation to regulatory filing.
• Manage the engagement process with Legal, Compliance, and Islamic advisory (if applicable) to secure sign-offs and documentation approvals.
• Ensure continuous alignment with internal governance bodies and contribute to enhancement of the product development process.

Process Management & Optimization

• Manage timelines, dependencies, and process bottlenecks through strong project management skills.
• Maintain process documentation and trackers to ensure transparency, accountability, and regulatory readiness.
• Identify and drive improvements to shorten product development timelines through workflow optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant areas.
• Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) experience.
• Fund Management experience.
• Product documentation experience.
• Legal engagement experience.
• Risk and Compliance Team coordination experience.
