Role Purpose

To ensure all audio-visual technical equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and supported for conferences and events, while maintaining the highest standards of property maintenance and delivering exceptional service to guests and event organizers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Setup & Maintenance

• Ensure all technical equipment is properly prepared and set up in conference areas.
• Service and maintain all AV equipment.
• Participate in the planning and execution of conferences and events.

Operations & Standards

• Support and assist in the smooth running of the property maintenance department, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest level whilst adhering to maintenance and company standards.
• Take responsibility for duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
• Support and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the property maintenance department, taking ownership of assigned areas of responsibility.

Stakeholder Management & Guest Focus

• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders whilst promoting company culture and values.
• Quickly understand clients' needs and wishes and provide the best technical solution for each event organizer.

Development & Compliance

• Develop and build own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within the property maintenance department, aligning with the company's culture of growth, development and performance.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department, ensuring departmental inventory is maintained, productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained.
• Ensure adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in property maintenance.
• Experience within AV technology, including audio, lighting, video, and IT.
• Excellent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
