Role Overview
Autonomous Driving Safety Operator at Burjline Builders. The role supports the safe testing and operation of autonomous vehicles in real-world road environments, working directly with autonomous vehicles during testing and operational activities to ensure tasks are conducted safely, accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
Role Purpose
To operate within autonomous vehicles during real-world testing and operational activities, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and in compliance with established procedures while supporting hardware, software, and validation testing.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operations
- Operate within autonomous vehicles during real-world road testing and operational activities.
- Conduct road testing and routine road-running activities.
- Participate in special experience and demonstration sessions.
- Support VIP vehicle experience activities where required.
Testing and Validation
- Support hardware and software update testing.
- Support operational testing and autonomous vehicle validation activities.
- Assist with cloud-cabin and connected vehicle testing.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow established safety procedures and operational instructions at all times.
- Identify and report operational or safety concerns during vehicle activities.
- Coordinate with operational and technical teams to ensure testing activities are completed safely.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in automotive operations, vehicle testing, transportation, fleet operations or a similar environment is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong awareness of road safety and safe driving practices.
- Comfortable working with new technology and autonomous vehicle systems.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to follow detailed operational and safety procedures.
- Responsible, safety-conscious and able to remain focused during vehicle operations.
