Role Overview
Autocue Operator at Emrb.
Role Purpose
Operate and manage autocue (teleprompter) systems to display news and bulletin content to on-air presenters, ensuring smooth content delivery and real-time adaptation to presenter needs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Display & Delivery
- Present and display the content of news and bulletin to presenter through the autocue machines.
- Run news content on the teleprompter.
Operational Management
- Monitor run order and reflect any changes on the Autocue.
- Maneuver and operate Autocue machines.
- Adapt to presenter's speeds, timings, and preferences.
Technical Support
- Troubleshoot Autocue machines and learn the best and most effective ways to respond to failures and fix them.
General Duties
- Perform other tasks or duties as and when required.
