Role Overview
Associate - Unsecured Policy at ADIB, located in Sharjah. This role is for fresh UAE National Graduates only.
Role Purpose
Assist the retail credit policy function and portfolio to ensure the credit process is managed effectively. The role requires end-to-end oversight of the credit cycle from sourcing and credit approval through collections to maintain a healthy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Compliance & Governance
- Ensure Post Approval Review is conducted as per approved process with no breaches of local and internal regulations.
- Review Daily Disaster Report and highlight any breaches of local and internal regulations.
- Ensure adherence to and effective updates and tracking of policy changes and tests for product performance assessment.
- Maintain a log of all policy changes.
- Ensure approved delegation and deviation matrices are in place.
- Complete policy department RCSA in timely manner and ensure testing is performed for all policy functions in line with approved processes.
Portfolio & Risk Analysis
- Analyze MIS to ensure quality of the portfolio with regards to risk.
- Validate appropriateness of credit policies and monitor impact of changes in credit policies.
- Conduct collection review for top delinquent accounts and recently booked applications to understand drivers of delinquency.
- Perform basic portfolio review with knowledge of portfolio mix, Expat vs UAE nationals, TML vs NTML, salary transfer vs non-salary transfer, and basic understanding of performance metrics.
Stakeholder Management & Documentation
- Ensure clear communication with all relevant units and documentation of all credit policy decisions.
Operations & IT Coordination
- Coordinate with IT Team for developing policy parameters and logics for automation of different data reports.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree minimum.
- Fresh UAE Nationals Graduates.
- Preferably some internships, not necessarily in the banking sector.
Skills & Competencies
- Communication skills.
- Finance academic background.
