Role Overview
Associate Technical Professional - Civil at KBR, providing civil engineering design and technical services.
Role Purpose
Support the design, specification, and delivery of civil engineering projects across transportation systems, water infrastructure, geotechnical works, and related disciplines. Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures with independent judgment while working under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering Services
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for civil engineering projects.
- Conduct study, design, and specification of transportation systems including road, rail, airport, and seaport infrastructure.
- Design bridges, drainage systems, underground utilities, tunnels, and geotechnical structures.
- Perform hydrology and hydraulics analysis and design.
- Deliver water treatment and distribution system design.
- Design wastewater collection and treatment systems.
- Support raw water supply and water resources projects.
Project Execution
- Independently apply engineering judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications to standard approaches.
- Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments involving conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.
- Execute job tasks that impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering.

- Additional experience within one functional area supports advancement to more complex project assignments.
