Associate Specialist, Cost Control at KBR.

Role Purpose

Forecast, control, and report project costs within the organization. Develop and provide project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports to support accurate financial tracking and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Analysis & Forecasting

• Review project costs incurred by category.
• Calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract rates, wage rates, and risk analysis.
• Develop project variances and trending analysis of expenditures.

Reporting & Documentation

• Provide completion reports and cost analysis to stakeholders.
• Report project cost performance and financial metrics as required.

Project Controls

• Perform routine assignments as an entry-level professional in project controls under direct supervision.
• Develop core competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
