Role Overview
Associate Project Manager - Engineering at KBR. This position manages all phases of planning and execution on medium-sized projects, typically with total installed cost under $100 million, or manages a segment of a larger project.
Role Purpose
Plan, organize, coordinate and control projects in accordance with established company policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. Maintain day-to-day client contact and communication, with primary focus on delivering client satisfaction while demonstrating knowledge of the respective industry.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Own all phases of planning and execution for medium-sized projects or project segments.
- Establish project plans, organization, coordination and controls aligned with company requirements.
- Manage budgetary accountabilities for assigned projects.
Client Management
- Lead day-to-day contact and communication with clients.
- Deliver client satisfaction through responsive project management and communication.
Team Leadership
- Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.
Proposal Management
- Serve as proposal manager for medium-sized projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of related project management experience.
- Average experience of 15–20 years.
- Knowledge of the respective industry.
