Associate Product Officer – Liabilities

Role Overview

Associate Product Officer – Liabilities at ADIB, located in Abu Dhabi. This role is restricted to UAE Nationals.

Role Purpose

Support the Department/Unit Head in leading and managing the performance of existing products and launching new products, with focus on new projects and key business objectives including system changes, stakeholder coordination, policy and procedure development, and product programs, with special emphasis on anchor products communication and product development activities.

Key Responsibilities

New Products and Projects Management

• Represent Products in new project enhancements.
• Prepare project plans and ensure timely implementation of new initiatives.
• Act as first point of contact in all Product-related enhancements.

Support Function

• Support frontline on daily business queries and achievement of product and business development objectives.
• Handle all day-to-day product-related tasks alongside the Product Manager.
• Coordinate with Sharia, Legal, ITD, ICD, ORM and Marketing departments to ensure smooth functioning of products and processes.
• Coordinate with Marketing for product campaigns and management of product collaterals including FAQs, website updates, and digital marketing.
• Follow up with Branches/Network on any exceptions.
• Manage product-related complaints and inquiries received through Customer Experience and Complaints teams and provide solutions.
• Provide timely and error-free responses to all product-related complaints and enquiries.

Products and Business Development

• Assist the Head of Department/Unit in design, development, and enhancement of products to ensure alignment with market needs.
• Provide inputs and market insights to recommend commercially viable changes that meet market demand and external business partner requirements.
• Revamp, repackage and update terms and conditions for all product offers.
• Prepare detailed competition scans of new products offered by other banks.
• Prepare and renew product programs on a yearly basis aligned with business goals.
• Assist in implementing new product proposals and align policies, procedures and process flow in coordination with Sharia, Legal, ITD, ICD, ORM and Marketing departments.

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS reporting on products to track product achievement, competition review and market research.
• Follow up on monthly tracking reports received from ACE and ITD.

Communications and Marketing

• Propose and manage product communication in line with the Bank's standard of communication through all delivery channels.
• Review all products on ADIB website, ATL/BTL Marketing content and update changes including leaflets, flyers, outdoor ads and newspaper ads.
• Deliver timely and accurate updates of product-related collateral, terms and conditions and other support processes.

Training and Process Management

• Prepare and provide product-related training.
• Launch ongoing training programs for frontline officers.
• Initiate new processes and review of existing processes and enhancements by liaising and following up with other support departments to get products approved and implemented.

General Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks on time and maintain filing and record keeping of all material.
• Deliver all items per year per Department/Unit Score Card/Objectives.
• Perform any other product development and management responsibilities entrusted by Bank's management from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of UAE Banking market and competition offering.
• Knowledge of Islamic Banking is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic MS Office skills.
• Project management basics.
