Associate Manager - Projects (Store Design)

Role Overview

Associate Manager - Projects (Store Design) at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, UAE Corporate Head Office.

Role Purpose

Manage the complete lifecycle of store assets, fixtures, equipment, and signage from specification through disposal. Own store signage projects end-to-end, coordinate supplier and authority approvals, and support store development activities through hands-on project coordination and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

• Manage the lifecycle of store fixtures, equipment, signage, and development assets.
• Develop asset specifications and support standardization initiatives.
• Maintain asset registers and inventory records.
• Monitor asset utilization and ensure availability for store projects.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate sourcing and procurement administration.
• Support supplier management and coordination.
• Own store signage projects end-to-end, including supplier coordination and permits.
• Secure authority approvals across all Emirates.

Operations & Deployment

• Coordinate asset deployment, transfers, recovery, and disposal.
• Oversee inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Maintain regular hands-on presence at the asset warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy and asset availability.

Project Support & Coordination

• Support store openings, relocations, and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate schedules, documentation, stakeholder actions, and project milestones.
• Conduct site visits and assist with project handovers and close-out activities.
• Provide regulatory follow-up and documentation support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail development, asset management, warehousing, procurement, signage, facilities, or similar environments.
• Experience in procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and project coordination.
• UAE retail and authority approval experience across all Emirates preferred.
• Signage project experience highly desirable.
