Role Purpose
As an Associate Director in Private Banking Front Office (Relationship Management), you will be a cornerstone of the Private Banking team, primarily focused on revenue generation. You will manage high-value portfolios, drive substantial revenue growth, and oversee a book of business to generate net new money and revenues while identifying and cultivating new prospects into valued clients.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Client Development
- Generate net new money and revenues for the bank.
- Maintain and expand existing client relationships in the GCC market while identifying and developing new prospects into bank clients.
- Identify and cultivate new prospects, transforming them into valued clients.
Portfolio & Asset Growth
- Increase the share of invested assets by providing tailored solutions and exploring investment opportunities with clients.
- Conduct regular account reviews with Investment Advisors.
Cross-Business Collaboration
- Increase client share of wallet and diversify the Private Bank by collaborating on direct investment opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships across ENBD business lines, including Corporate, Retail, Investment Banking, and Asset Management.
Team Development
- Foster teamwork and develop team members by introducing clients and prospects to senior team members.
- Seek guidance and support from senior team members for relationship management and product development.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in Finance or Bachelor's degree.
- CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications (desirable).
- Extensive years of relevant experience in Financial Services.
- Experience managing and deepening strategic relationships with Royal, ruling-family and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of assets and liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management and investment products.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance, due diligence and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Knowledge of basic legal structures such as offshore accounts and trusts.
