Associate Director - Tax Operations at KPMG.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Process Management
- Oversee day-to-day tax operations and compliance activities.
- Manage tax filing deadlines and ensure timely submission of returns.
- Optimize tax processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Monitor quality control standards across tax deliverables.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and supervise tax operations team members.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff on tax matters.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with clients to understand their tax requirements and concerns.
- Communicate tax positions and compliance status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and review tax compliance documentation and filings.
- Report on tax operations performance and key metrics to senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is current.
