Role Overview
Associate Director – IT Business Relationship Manager at Qiddiya Investment Company. The Senior Manager – Motorsport Technology Business Partner serves as the strategic IT lead for Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio.
Role Purpose
Act as the primary liaison between Motorsport business leadership and technology teams, driving technology demand management, portfolio governance, roadmap development, and operational readiness across Motorsport assets. Ensure technology investments align with business objectives, asset strategies, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary IT relationship owner for Motorsport business leadership.
- Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps.
- Build trusted relationships with asset executives, operators, consultants, and delivery partners.
- Ensure technology decisions support business outcomes and operational objectives.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and executive alignment.
Demand Management & Portfolio Governance
- Own the Motorsport demand intake process.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and govern business requests.
- Lead capability mapping and solution assessment activities.
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop multi-year Motorsport technology roadmaps.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.
- Identify opportunities for platform reuse, standardization, and innovation.
- Drive emerging technology adoption in smart venues, race operations, fan engagement, digital ticketing, sports analytics, and IoT and operational technology systems.
- Own strategic roadmap for high-capex, high-integration Motorsport environments.
Asset IT Readiness & Operational Readiness
- Lead IT readiness assessments for new Motorsport assets.
- Define technology mobilization plans.
- Coordinate technology requirements with operators and business users.
- Ensure technology readiness before asset opening and major events.
- Track dependencies across supporting facilities and core assets.
Motorsport Domain Oversight
- Oversee technology demand and readiness for Motorsport Park, Speed Park, race tracks, visitor and fan experience systems, ticketing platforms, broadcast and media infrastructure, venue operations systems, security command centers, smart venue and IoT platforms, parking and mobility systems, and operational technology integrations.
- Position as the single strategic owner for Motorsport technology demand, roadmap, readiness, and executive engagement, while delivery execution remains with PMO, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and project delivery teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or Business Relationship Management.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing technology portfolios, strategic roadmaps, and executive stakeholder engagement within complex, large-scale environments.
