Role Purpose

Support the revenue management department by maximizing guest satisfaction, optimizing revenue streams, and steering revenue strategies through strategic acumen and a goal-driven approach. Bring expertise and passion for profitability and performance across all aspects of reservations and meetings & events management.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy & Performance

• Develop and implement strategies where key revenue management metrics are identified, communicated and delivered.
• Reviews and scrutinizes business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance.
• Works proactively to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.

Operations & Department Management

• Support the smooth running of the revenue management department, where all aspects of the hotel's reservations and meeting & events enquiries are managed and handled.
• Effectively manage the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance.
• Responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.

Stakeholder Management & Compliance

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.

• Proven experience in revenue management.
• Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations.
• Personal integrity with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• French language proficiency (as indicated by role title).
