Associate Technical Consultant – Structural Heart, based in Qassim, Saudi Arabia, at Medtronic, a global leader in healthcare technology.

Role Purpose
To promote Medtronic products and services within assigned geographic areas and customer accounts, providing technical and clinical expertise to healthcare professionals while supporting Structural Heart procedures and building long-term stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Market Development
- Promote Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts.
- Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Partner with physicians and hospital personnel on products and solutions.
- Work closely with commercial organization to recommend enhancements in sales processes and product launches.
Clinical and Technical Support
- Support technical and clinical needs at hospitals including therapy indications, pre-procedure planning, intra-operative support, and post-implant patient management.
- Provide technical expertise through presentations and product demonstrations.
- Conduct on-site education and consulting with healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
Product Knowledge and Development
- Stay up to date on new products, solutions, and patient management offerings through ongoing technical development.
- Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders.
- Optimize clinical support pathway recommendations.
Operations and Travel
- Travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings with 60–70% expected travel time.
- Remain regularly independently mobile while performing the duties of this job.
- Participate in cross-functional assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years' experience in the medical device industry and/or working in a hospital environment.
- Deep understanding of pain management and neuromodulation therapies.
- Experience supporting Structural Heart procedures, specifically TAVI and TPVI procedures.
- Familiarity with operating theater environment, including sterilization and radiation protocols.
- Familiarity with current products, technologies, and market trends.
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel.
- Prior hospital or clinic experience preferred.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with radiology protocols and imaging technology, thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry, and ability to coordinate and participate in multiple tasks or projects within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong organization and consistently meeting deadlines.
