Role Overview

Assistant Technician - Maintenance at Al Ghurair, responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators.

Role Purpose

To assist senior technicians in the routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator and escalator systems, while adhering strictly to safety protocols and minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive Maintenance

• Assist senior technicians in routine preventive maintenance of elevators and escalators.
• Help in lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, and replacement of worn-out components.
• Carry out assigned tasks as per maintenance checklists and schedules.

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Support in troubleshooting and minor repairs of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Assist in responding to breakdown calls and emergency situations.
• Support in isolating faults and restoring equipment under supervision.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and site regulations strictly.
• Use PPE and safety tools correctly during maintenance activities.
• Report any unsafe conditions, defects, or potential hazards immediately.

Service Delivery

• Help ensure minimum downtime and customer satisfaction.
