Assistant Store Manager - Tartine et Chocolat

Role Overview

Assistant Store Manager role with Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, reporting to the Store Manager. This Operations position is for Tartine et Chocolat and supports day-to-day store performance and team development.

Role Purpose

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager across all day-to-day store operations, including achievement of sales targets, team management and development, profit maximization, brand and company image maintenance, operational compliance, and delivery of excellent customer experience. The role includes responsibility for managing store operations and workforce in the Store Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Lead the team to deliver excellent customer service standards and exceptional customer experiences through clear understanding of company and brand customer experience standards.
• Understand individual customer needs and maintain awareness of current trends and competitor activity.
• Drive the Store team to deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.

Sales Performance

• Drive sales and take initiative to increase sales and business improvement through keen awareness of set KPI targets.
• Manage and implement all sales promotions and brand activities.
• Maximize sales opportunities through clear and consistent communication with the Buying and Planning departments.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure smooth store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, dealing with any potential disruptions to the business in a timely manner.
• Implement, manage and maintain compliance to company policies and guidelines to minimize stock loss and damage.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain professional relationships with support teams.
• Provide regular relevant feedback to Marketing, Buying and Planning departments.
• Communicate with relevant support teams to ensure maximization of sales from promotions and brand activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or high school certificate minimum.
• Qualification in a retail-related field is an added advantage.
• Minimum 4-5 years' industry experience.
