Role Overview
Assistant Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels, responsible for generating and managing group sales while delivering memorable hospitality experiences to guests.
Role Purpose
Generate and convert new business through proactive outreach, build and maintain client relationships across assigned market segments, and lead the complete sales cycle from proposal through contract negotiation to drive room revenue and overall hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals
- Generate and convert new business
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments
- Nurture existing accounts and develop new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability
- Build and maintain client relationships
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals
- Develop targeted sales strategies
Sales Execution
- Prepare proposals
- Conduct site visits
- Negotiate terms
- Secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue
- Lead end-to-end sales process
Booking & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate customer requirements including room, food and beverage, and meeting space
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of account and reservation information in the hotel's sales management system
- Manage booking details
