Role Overview
Assistant Retail Manager at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Company Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027. Located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. The resort will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
Role Purpose
Support retail operations across a luxury integrated resort environment, supervising team members to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain Wynn's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Retail Management
- Support the Store Operations Manager in overseeing all aspects of retail operations
- Ensure product displays and store presentation align with Wynn's luxury standards and seasonal themes
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
Team Leadership & Customer Service
- Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets
- Participate in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and discretion
Inventory & Procurement
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with procurement teams
Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking performance metrics, and analyzing trends
Marketing & Brand
- Implement promotional strategies and support marketing initiatives
- Uphold Wynn's brand values and ensure a refined, welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in luxury retail or hospitality
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in retail POS systems and inventory management software
- High attention to detail and commitment to brand excellence
