Role Overview

Assistant Relationship Manager in Qatar Corporate Banking – Wholesale Banking within the International Banking Group at Mashreq.

Role Purpose

Support Relationship Managers in the delivery of corporate banking services to wholesale clients, focusing on financial analysis, credit assessment, relationship management, and facility structuring.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

• Work with Relationship Managers on client engagement and relationship management
• Meet with customers to understand their banking and financing needs

Financial Analysis & Credit Structuring

• Assist in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, risk rating, and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships
• Prepare Credit Proposals including new proposals, annual renewals, and amendments

Stakeholder Liaison

• Liaise with Wholesale Risk Management to resolve risk-related queries
• Liaise with the Compliance Unit to resolve compliance-related queries
