Role Overview
Assistant Relationship Manager - Product Specialist at Julius Baer. The role focuses on supporting Advice Premium clients with Assets under Management between CHF 3 million and CHF 10 million.

Role Purpose
Serve as a key interface between Relationship Managers and the Investment and Wealth Management System to enhance service delivery, increase product penetration, and optimize returns for Advice Premium mandates through portfolio analysis, investment strategy communication, and client support.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring and Client Communication
- Conduct portfolio reviews for sub-accounts within Advisory Premium Mandates upon RM request.
- Include yearly leverage reviews and PAR reports where applicable in portfolio reviews.
- Complete portfolio reviews on a priority basis with timelines agreed in advance with the Product Specialist.
- Request RM/ARM to share account and household details prior to conducting portfolio reviews.
- Ensure investment ideas prepared by the Product Specialist are shared directly by the RM/ARM to clients.
- Make yourself available for calls and meetings as per RM request with at least 48 hours advance notice.
- Accommodate last-minute requests on a best-efforts basis subject to other requests and meetings.
Advisory Support and Strategy
- Collaborate with RMs to increase service activity, product penetration, and Return on Assets or revenues.
- Support RMs with proposals and portfolio ideas.
- Communicate Julius Baer's investment strategy and propose portfolio modifications according to market situation and client strategy.
- Establish risk tolerance and best asset allocation strategy in cooperation with RMs.
- Serve as key interface function between RM and IWMS.
Business Development
- Conduct holistic business development and active collaboration with competence centres.
Administrative and Trade Support
- Recognize that all pre- and post-trade processes will be completed by RM/ARM.
- Recognize that all suitability and trade execution will be completed by RM/ARM.
- Acknowledge that all administrative tasks on account level (archiving on myCRM, corporate actions, margin calls, cash flows) are the sole responsibility of RM/ARM.
- Note that RM holds responsibility to contact clients within 5 business days regarding DiAS alerts to avoid scorecard impact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bank apprenticeship or equivalent educational background.
- Relevant professional background and work experience in the financial industry.
- Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs, including onboarding of new clients and maintaining and extending current relationships.
- Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) covered, including familiarity with legal and regulatory environment and cultural awareness.
- Good language skills (verbal and written) according to specific market requirements.
