Role Purpose

Contribute to the College of Computing and Intelligent Systems through excellence in teaching core AI and computing courses, conducting high-quality research, innovating curriculum, and fulfilling academic service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum

• Teach undergraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence and related Computer Science disciplines.
• Deliver core AI courses including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Intelligent Systems, and AI Applications.
• Develop course syllabi, learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies aligned with program outcomes.
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies effectively into teaching and learning activities.
• Apply learning practices effectively.
• Undertake formative and summative assessments to ensure student progress and implement interventions where required.

Student Support & Mentorship

• Supervise and mentor students academically.
• Support student research and career development.

Research & Scholarship

• Conduct research and publish in reputable, high-impact journals indexed in Scopus.

Service & Professional Engagement

• Participate in curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage in departmental, college, and university service and administrative responsibilities.
• Engage in professional activities and community service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence or a closely related discipline from an internationally recognized university.
• University-level teaching experience is required.
• Publication record in high-reputable journals indexed in Scopus within the candidate's research area.
• Demonstrated ability to teach core AI and computing courses.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
